He is a graduate of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of the Philippines College of Veterinary Medicine in 1977.
He started his carrier in the field of veterinary medicine as a small animal practitioner and worked in several small animal hospitals in the Philippines and in the US. He is the former owner of South Main Animal Hospital in Santa Ana CA for 24 years and worked as the veterinarian at the Golden State Humane Society for 5 years.
Dr. Zuniga or Dr. Z as he is fondly called enhances his skills by attending seminars and short courses and combined with experience and training, he is currently doing major surgeries at Bear Valley Animal Hospital.
During his free time, he makes sure that he spends quality time with his granddogs Finn and Gouda.
