This therapy utilizes a specialized machine and a blood sample from your pet to produce "platelet-rich plasma" which is used for the factors in platelets that are beneficial to healing. The platelet-rich plasma is administered to the area which needs healing.
This treatment has created options for patients that may not necessarily require surgery immediately.
